About Petmecky
Petmecky (formerly known as The Adventures of Chicken & Dumpling) is the fun-loving musical adventure of Tave Fasce Drake and Nikki Jardin.
Their shows involve original music consisting of blues, folk, swing, and 1930s style songs, along with a handful of carefully selected covers often played on unusual and whimsical instruments. The fun times also include storytelling, games, and the occasional guest performer!
When not off having adventures or performing together, Tave and Nikki are involved in several solo projects in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Additionally, Tave is the lead singer and Nikki is the drummer of Gerle Haggard Band, the “All Merle, All Girl” tribute.
TAVE FASCE DRAKE
- Daughter of Tony Fasce (Johnny Angel) and niece to Dion (Dion & The Belmonts), Tave is a natural performer.

- Loves tinned fish and pickled vegetables.
NIKKI JARDIN
- Always a lover of music, Nikki started playing drums later in life and co-founded Gerle Haggard, her first band, in 2013
- Nik enjoys mini-golf, seafood, and foghorns (the old school diaphone kind, not the new-fangled electronic, unromantic kind)

We got to debut our project recently at Growler’s Taproom Sunday Songwriter Soiree. It was exciting for us to take Petmecky out for their first drive. Our friend Petra captured one of our covers and here it is!
We were sitting around talking about when you may be having a rotten day – how comforting it is to just be with friends who care. That’s what this song is about. Filmed at The Atlantis Underground in March 2019.
We were fortunate enough to be included on the last night of The Atlantis Underground Songwriter Sessions before the event takes a little hiatus. We performed one of our favorites, AND got to play the interactive game, Name That Sound, with our audience! Good times, people!
Petmecky’s other project is Gerle Haggard Band, where we cover Merle Haggard’s song, “The Legend of Bonnie and Clyde.” Often, Tave talks about her love of a certain bit of “stage business” that Faye Dunaway does. Last year, we were touring in Idaho and had some time on our hands, so we decided to have a bit of fun.
